After years of seeing welcome drink trends come and go, I have to say Aperol Spritz has to be my favorite. It’s refreshing yet not too sweet and just a lovely cocktail to get your festivities going whether it be a backyard dinner party, a New Year’s brunch or a wedding. Olivia and Freddy loved this little cocktail so much it greeted guests at every single event and no one ever tired of it. Start with a chilled glass, ice and an orange slice.
3 parts of Prosecco
2 parts of Aperol
1 splash of soda
Start by adding ice into the glass then pour in the Prosecco, the Aperol and add a splash of soda, top with a slice of orange. This serving avoids the Aperol settling at the bottom.
